I was poking about IMDB and I noticed that a new Supernatural episode had been added to Misha’s page:

28. Episode #6.1 (30 September 2010) – Castiel

So it looks like Castiel will be back on the season 6 premiere, and we are also given the date for when the show will return. Such a long wait … *sad face*

ETA 3:35pm: Was kindly informed by @hils_k (thanks!) that September 30th is actually a Thursday. So, since Supernatural has been officially moved to Friday’s following Smallville, we can possibly assume that October 1, 2010 is the actual air date for the season 6 premiere.

ETA June 30th: According to Deadline.com, the season six premiere will be September 24th @ 9pm est.

Rest assured, “Supernatural” fans. The CW and Warner Bros have officially confirmed to Zap2it that fan-favorite actors Misha Collins (Castiel) and Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) are expected to join Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles on episodes of “Supernatural” next season.

In the Season 5 finale, the both characters were killed — Castiel exploded like an over-filled water balloon, and Lucifer snapped Bobby’s neck. Of course, since this is “Supernatural,” they were resurrected minutes later. Castiel headed back to heaven to “be the new sheriff in town,” and when Dean and Bobby said goodbye, it was made clear that it was “the last [they] would see of each other for a very long time.”

LONDON – Living is to launching a cross-platform treasure hunt-style game to promote its upcoming exclusive run of series five of US drama ‘Supernatural’.

The game, called ‘Fight the Apocalypse’, can be played online, mobile and print will give users a chance to appear on the show.

It is based around collecting hidden symbols, which players must locate, photograph and send via MMS to the campaign shortcode. Images taken on a mobile phone will then be recognised by the game and uploaded on to the player’s profile.

The first clue will be released on 20 January. A video featuring ‘Supernatural’s resident angel Castiel, played by Misha Collins, will launch the game that can be accessed via a dedicated microsite, luciferiscoming.com.

Holiday season kicking anyone else’s arse? lol.

So lots has happened since my last update. Things will continue to be slow right now save for our twitter, which I update pretty frequently. Again, I urge you all to follow it. Below are the updates from December 7th ’til now:

News:
• Misha has joined the Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural Chicago 2010. This includes a first-time ever duo photo shoot with Jared Padalecki. [ details ]
• TNT bought the rights to air Supernatural in syndication. Of course, it’ll be a while before we see any of Misha’s season four episodes on there, but still, this is fantastic news for the show. More information here.
• Misha is up for “Best of Twitter 2009″, vote here.
