Sera on Castiel: Castiel has an amazing story this season. Misha Collins is with us as a series regular, and we have a lot planned for him, and I am very excited about that.
Misha on Castiel: I have a tendency to always see the characters that I am playing as good guys in some ways. While I was playing [serial killer Paul Bernardo] I felt like all of his actions were justified, so playing a dark angel, it doesn’t feel like any of his actions are unjustifiable. He has a conscience and he’s trying to save the world. His motives are good.

Misha Collins joined the cast of ‘Supernatural’ this year playing an angel who pulls Dean Winchester (played by Jensen Ackles) out of hell. But it was his work as an associate producer on ‘Loot’ that brought him to Film Independent’s Spirit Awards.
